Considering I haven't updated my journal in nearly six years I figured I should type some things into this here word box.

I created this DA account seven years ago and it mostly serves as a record of my early attempts at figuring out digital painting and basic drawing skills.
Now I mostly use it to dump my for fun art projects and illustrations.

Once a year I do a large ocean themed painting to benefit charities that help clean and preserve our local beaches. This year's painting I did live painting with donated house paint and a 3" brush:

Yep, everyone over the age of 17 and under the age of 30 mostly ignores this holiday, but the rest of the country usually starts frothing at the mouth with Christmas joy about this time of the year.

Here's a fun little fact: The easiest way to kill a chicken is actually NOT by cutting it's head off. I tried this a few years back and the darn thing got loose and ran around the yard without a head before it ran into the house and really spooked my younger sister.

The fine establishment, Trader Joe's, now sells organic tampons. I'm not making this up.

When I was much younger, I raised two pigs. One of them I named Susan, and the other one was CG. I told people it stood for: "Center of Gravity." It actually stood for Cathy Gadoy. Man, I hated that bitch.

My niece once asked me: "Unkey Erik, Why are those two men kissing?" This was difficult for me to explain. A large part of this difficulty was because I don't have a niece.

Googling for the word "Google" is in no way existential or "deep." But most people will try it anyway.

Here is my plan to explain adult relationships to children:  
Fork + Spoon = Straight
Fork + Fork = Gay
Spoon + Spoon = Lesbian
Spork = ???! What?

My grandfather is not allowed to drive in Texas anymore.

In the future we will drive Hydrogen cars. The fuel for these cars will cost just as much, if not more than gasoline and is actually produced by using the same fossil fuel we've used all along. But look on the bright side: at least our cars won't run by creating boring, controlled explosions from fossilized dinosaur dicks anymore.
