Description

Abe Lincoln just moments before racking up one of the largest body counts in American history.

Some quotes:
"It was worse than a nightmare. I heard men whom I'd say were the toughest in the world screaming out for their mothers. I saw my friends and men whom I had never met torn in half, all mangled in a pile by that... that monster. After that, I am not ashamed to say that the only things I fear are God and Abraham Lincoln" - Samuel H. Rosencrantz, Confederate officer.

"From each foe that I killed, I'd take something -- maybe a finger, an eye, an ear. Later I made myself a tribal necklace from these souvenirs. It's a shame that Mary made me throw it out, it was totally badass." - Abraham Lincoln

"What is with you and Abraham Lincoln? I've seen him like eight times already." - John Mahoney, while reviewing my sketch book from Cal Arts

I'm glad the Northern Union won the civil war, and I'm pretty sure the Southern Confederacy had it's faults and social evils, most definitely. That being said, I don't think the CSA should be seen as irredeemable or necessarily more wicked than other imperfect countries at the time.
I sometimes wonder if people have an easier time forgiving the Koreans or even Germany than they do the South.
I don't like everything about the South, but sometimes I think people make the CSA a mary sue of an evil country (snidely whiplash) as being blatantly just as evil or unreasonable as Nazi Germany. But that's not you, that's people.
Anyway, this is a good drawing. I really like it. Abraham Lincoln looks like Spawn or Alucard, almost like some crazy anime like Gun grave. Reminds of the Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter type deal with our 16th president.
Hey, I got an idea.....what if old pennies were worth 16 cents?
I mean, he is the 16th president.
